Skype 5.0 Beta Allows Group Video Calls for 10 People

Skype has released a new Beta update numbered version 5.0that allows users make group video calls with up to 10 people. As well as allowing for more people on a group video call, the update also gets a new fresh look and also stability has been increased. Over all its quality has been increased when making video calls to a group so your calling experience should be smoother than before.

This new version also includes automatic call recovery, which should help automatically reconnect Skype calls that are interrupted due to network problems. To make a group video call, each users on the call needs to be running the latest Skype Beta 5.0. At present the service is free although the blog post announcement hints at a possible charge in the future.

YouTube will Increase Video Uploading Time Limit

YouTube is the world’s most popular video-sharing website. It has been announced that video upload time limit will be increased on the YouTube soon. The video upload time will be substantially increased from 10 minutes to 15 minutes. This will facilitate the users in submitting their comparatively lengthy videos and they do not have to cut and edit them just because of the time constraints. So, the users are only going to welcome the move.
The sources from the company have revealed this information. However, it is still not known that why it intends to increase the upload time. It is to be noted that the upload time surge was expected long time ago. So, the change is welcome to the users.
Now users can more focus on including more content as they will not be slashing their videos anymore to abide by the time limit. The date of the new change has not yet been announced by the company. There are reports that the increase in the upload time will be celebrated by the company with a “15 minutes of fame” contest and the YouTube homepage will display it.

Autodesk Maya, a Powerful 3D Graphic Generator

Autodesk Maya is a software application used for 3D animation, 3D modeling, simulation, visual effects, rendering, matchmoving, and compositing and it is developed in Toronto by Autodesk's Media and Entertainment Division and the name Maya is named after the Sanskrit term that means illusion.
Maya is used in the film and TV industry, as well as for computer and video games, architectural visualization and design. The recent movie Avatar had been possible due to Autodesk Maya.
The new Maya contains all the features of Maya Unlimited 2009: Maya Fluid Effects (A realistic fluid simulator that is effective for smoke, fire, clouds and explosions), Maya Classic Cloth (Cloth simulation to automatically simulate clothing and fabrics moving realistically over an animated character), Maya Fur (Animal fur simulation similar to Maya Hair, it can be used to simulate other fur-like objects such as grass), Maya Hair (A simulator for realistic-looking human hair implemented using curves and Paint Effects, also known as dynamic curves), Maya Live (A set of motion tracking tools for CG matching to clean plate footage), Maya nCloth (nCloth gives the artist further control of cloth and material simulations), Maya nParticle (nParticle gives artists an intuitive, efficient workflow for simulating a wide range of complex 3D effects, including liquids, clouds, smoke, spray, and dust) and MatchMover (Added to Maya 2010, this enables compositing of CGI elements with motion data from video and film sequences).
Today, many 3D games and animated movie are being developed in Autodesk Maya. Kung Fu Panda, an animated movie, is also created in Maya.

Opera, developed by Opera Software, is a web browser and Internet suite. It handles tasks related to internet such as displaying websites, sending and receiving e-mail (electronic mail) messages, managing contacts, chatting on IRC, downloading files via BitTorrent (a software), and reading web feeds.
