The world’s lightest phone is launched by Modu in UK, named as Modu1.The phone is recognized by Guinness Word Records as the lightest phone in the world. The weight of the phone is only equals to 40.1g , measures just 72.1mm x 37.6mm x 7.8mm, and comes with a 1.3in OLED display with 65,000 colours and a built-in speaker.
Modu1 has 3.2 megapixel camera having 3.2x difital zoom,2GB of internal memory and Bluetooth 1.2 connectivity.
The spokesman of Modu said that the “Users can modify the phone's design and features by inserting the Modu 1 into a 'jacket'”
The device has been available in Israel for over a year, and could struggle to attract customers in the UK especially with the iPhone 4, Samsung Galaxy S and HTC Desire dominating the market.
