Motorola Milestone- a QWERTY slider, launched by Motorola that seems to emulate the first device carrying Android OS – T-Mobile G1 and as a side note, Motorola Milestone is the first device to ship directly with Android 2.0


The Milestone is an impressive device and strong points included the excellent display, robust feel, flexible Android software, capable GPS and fast processor, weak points were the shocking lack of tethering capabilities and the poor camera.

Blacberry 9800 is being launched on coming Tuesday


In the recently paidContent Mobile Conference, held in New York, John Albright of the BlackBerry Partners Fund gave a hint that Research in Motion (RIM), maker of Blackberry devices, is currently preparing for the release of a new touchscreen device which is expected to happen in August 15 via AT&T network, that is now called as Blackberry 9800 and some other gadget sites referring to it as the “Torch 9800”. According to Albright, this new device will be the first phone of Blackberry that will feature both touchscreen and a slide-out physical keyboard.


The Blackberry 9800 is believed to be the first device that will run the newest Blackberry 6 OS and it is expected to carry the same look and feel as most BlackBerry handsets except for its physical keyboard which is similar to that of the Palm Pre. Moreover, there were some rumors that this device will boast a 4GB internal storage as well as a 5 megapixel camera and it is not expected to have significant improvement in its performance aside from its RAM but it is highly anticipated to become a hot gadget to look forward to.

The Blackberry 9800 is rumored to be having the following specifications:

• 3.2 inch TFT Touchscreen with a 360 x 480 pixels resolution display

• Full QWERTY slide-out keyboard

• Touch sensitive optical trackpad

• 5 megapixel camera with Liquid Lens Technology

At present, information on its price is not yet officially available but there were some information that in New York city the online mobile retailer Mobile City has started opening its store for the pre-order of the BlackBerry 9800, at a price of $599.99.

Nokia N8 Launched Officially


Nokia N8 has been launched officially. It will be the first in the world to join the new Symbian OS 3 and it includes some new features that are missing in older versions for example support for multitouch. It will have a 12 megapixel camera which includes larger sensor and a perfect Carl Zeiss optics and xenon flash, the sensor should be greater than its competitors and even higher than in some small compact cameras.


Nokia N8 can record high definition videos and you can even edit the movie you have made with nokia N8 with a smart built-in editing suite on the device Pictures and videos can be stored on the 16 GB of storage the phone comes with, which can be extended with additional 32 GB of memory via microSD cards.

Nokia N8 measures 113.5 x 59 x 12.9 mm and has a weight of 153 grams that also includes GPS, accelerometer, compass, FM receiver and transmitter, and Wi-Fi etc. Nokia N8 cost will be €370 + taxes.

Another exciting smartphone is released by Acer which is faster and more evolved Android smartphone as compared to its previous smartphones.It is named as Liquid E.It is a stylish and stunning mobile phone. The handset is in shiny red with the amazing features. It has special attraction for the Ferrari lovers as Telecompaper reported in early June that Acer planned to launch a special edition Ferrari version of the the Liquid E in August. Nokia X5-01 goes 'square' with QWERTY keyboard

Nokia is the pioneer in creating new mobile phones to appeal them market. Now they have introduced the Nokia X5-01 whose shape is square (which is something new in the mobile world) and it also has a full qwerty keyboard in it. Nokia X5-01 is a Symbian S60(3rd gen) mobile phone.The other thing is that it is not as small and thin like other phones of Nokia, it’s a bit heavy and big it measures 74x66mm and is 17mm thick. Its relatively bulky nature does allow it to sport a 2.3” (320×240) display, though, and the slide-out QWERTY keyboard means it’s not a million miles away from what could be described as a “micro-notebook.”
Specifications include: WI-FI, Bluetooth (like any other latest mobile phone), 3G supported, 600Mhz ARM 11 processor and a 5MP camera with 4x digital zoom and LED flash.
This is also a phone for social networking people and has many great applications. Its launch date is yet not confirmed and it should cost around €165 (US$202) before tax and subsidies
